BALANCE, POWER, AND AGILITY CAMP
Balance, power and agility camps are designed to improve an athletes balance, power and agility. Professional Sport Performance Coaches from The Body Club will use a variety of drills and exercises to help athletes improve: joint stability, core strength, upper and lower body power, mobility, and overall athleticism.
Speed camps are designed to improve an athlete’s speed and quickness. Professional Sport Performance Coaches from The Body Club use a variety of drills and exercises to teach competence in: starts, first step quickness, acceleration, linear and non-linear deceleration/acceleration, and maximum velocity.
This informative one hour clinic will educate athletes, parents, and coaches about the causes of ACL injuries and how they can be prevented. Topics discussed will be: the high incidence of non-contact ACL injuries in female athletes, structural and anatomical considerations, bio-mechanical implications, and a “hands on” practical demonstration of remedial and preventative exercises. A question and answer session will follow the clinic for anyone interested.
MOVEMENT TRAINING ONLY
Movement training only sessions focus on developing athletes fundamental movement skills. Professional Sport Performance Coaches from The Body Club will teach competence in: joint positioning, running mechanics, linear and lateral movement skills, jumping and landing mechanics, and multi-directional movement skills.
OLYMPIC STYLE WEIGHTLIFTING CLINIC
This informative four hour clinic will educate coaches and/or athletes on how to teach and perform the Olympic style lifts and variations (power clean & power snatch). This clinic is extremely popular with football, basketball, and volleyball coaches and athletes. Increase explosive power, vertical jumping ability and strength. Certified United States Weightlifting Coaches will provide all clinic instruction.
